All students spend their freshman year in the Residential College of Yonsei International Campus in Incheon, Songdo, where they experience creative community education that integrates learning and living. The Korean program is composed of 17 colleges and 66 majors with 17,500 students. Global Leaders College offers various scholarships and financial aid divided into three main categories: Need-based, Merit-based (Honors Scholarship, KOSAF-GLC Fellowship), and Work-based (Activity-based Scholarship for mentoring/internships/field trips, Work-Study Scholarship for office assistants, Leadership Scholarship for Student Council members, Assistant Scholarship for TAs). GLC currently offers three majors: International Commerce, Korean Language and Culture Education, and Culture and Media. GLC offers support systems for students to fully familiarize themselves with Korean culture and to be able to adapt quickly to new policies and the new educational environment of South Korea. Currently 660 students from 30 countries are pursuing their studies at GLC. Originally founded in 2015, Global Leaders College is Yonsei University’s youngest college, providing the world's first Korean language-based premium curriculum for international and overseas Korean students.
